Corrosive liquid developed especially for use by artists. For use in crafts for burnishing and antiquing of metal parts such as copper, brass or iron. However this ink is not suitable for use on deeply etched surfaces or on high alloy steels.
This liquid attacks the surface and the metal directly, the burnishing effect is permanent and can be removed only by polishing out.
Surfaces treated with stamp impressions or cotton swab become dark within a very short time. The penetration depth can be adjusted by diluting the stamping ink with distilled water.
After reaching the desired coloration, treat the stamped area with Neutralon to stop the corrosive effect and apply grease or oil to prevent further corrosion.
Acid resistant rubber
